A WordPress events calendar plugin that integrates with Elementor
I needed an Events Calendar plugin, and the popular WordPress plugins were either bloated with features I didn’t need, locked basic functionality behind expensive annual licenses, or just didn’t play well with Elementor. So I built my own.
Super Events Calendar has two custom post types, five taxonomies, a recurring events engine, five calendar views with AJAX navigation, front-end submission form with spam protection, iCal export, and a full Elementor integration — ten widgets, ten dynamic tags, and custom Loop Grid query sources. Zero custom database tables.
Month, week, day, list, and grid views with AJAX navigation and category/tag/format filtering.
Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly patterns. Generates real child posts so Loop Grid works natively.
Event date, map, RSVP, venue card, countdown, submission form, calendar, calendar grid, add-to-calendar
Configurable form with honeypot protection, rate limiting, file uploads, and email notifications.
RFC 5545 .ics downloads plus Google Calendar, Outlook, and Yahoo links per event.
Separate post type with address, map, phone, website. Venue cards auto-link to events.
Pre-built query sources: upcoming, past, today, this week, this month, and custom date ranges.
